82-year-old Lola Sally finishes Grade 12

An 82-year-old senior high school student will be marching for graduation this year in Makati City.

According to a report by Mark Salazar in GMA News TV's State of the Nation with Jessica Soho, Salvacion "Sally" Nacario's ultimate dream was to be a military nurse but she was only able to reach third year high school.

Decades have since passed but her passion to learn remained alive.

Despite suffering a mild stroke in 2016, Lola Sally eagerly returned to school to earn a diploma.

Last year, her inspiring story was featured in Front Row in the episode, "Balik Eskwela si Lola."

Lola Sally was the oldest student of Fort Bonifacio High School in Makati City accompanied by her grandchild, Rose.
