Siren blares in Quezon City to signal curfew
Every night at 8 p.m. starting March 16, the wailing of sirens can be heard in barangays in Quezon City indicating the start of curfew as part of COVID-19 preventive measure.
As shown in a tweet by GMA News reporter Tina Panganiban-Perez, the siren can be heard for around a minute in Barangay Laging Handa to remind residents they should be indoors

The Quezon City government has implemented a city-wide nine-hour "public safety hours" policy which started on March 16 to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
COVID-19 cases in the city is now at 97 with the death toll at 14.
