PNP: Over 150,000 violators reported in NCR amid Alert Level 3


A total of 156,047 quarantine violators have been reported in the National Capital Region (NCR) since the implementation of Alert Level 3 as of Sunday, data from the Philippine National Police (PNP) showed Monday.

The PNP said a daily average of 9,753 violators was being reported from October 16 to 31. A total of 10,689 violators were newly reported on Sunday.

Around 59% of the violators were warned, 34% were fined, while 7% faced other sanctions, the PNP said.

A total of 117,337 violators or 7,334 daily have violated minimum public health standards amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

For curfew, a total of 37,879 violators or 2,367 daily were reported in Metro Manila.

A total of 831 who are not considered authorized persons outside residence (APORs) were also caught outdoors.

The NCR will be under Alert Level 3 from November 1 until 14.

Several establishments will be allowed to operate at 30% indoor venue capacity only for fully vaccinated individuals and 50% outdoor venue capacity, provided that all employees are fully vaccinated.
