Rosario Maclang Bautista hospital in QC temporarily suspends face-to-face consultations
The Rosario Maclang Bautista General Hospital (RMBGH) in Quezon City on Tuesday announced that it temporarily suspended its face-to-face consultations starting January 5.
“Simula January 5, 2022, pansamantalang isasarado ang OPD (Outpatient Department) face-to-face consultation at lahat ng pasyente ay ikukonsulta sa ating RMBGH telemedicine consultation,” the hospital management said in an advisory.
(Starting January 5, 2022, the OPD face-to-face consultation will be temporarily closed and all patients will be consulted at our RMBGH telemedicine consultation.
In a separate advisory, the hospital management said its telemedicine consultation will open starting January 4, from Monday to Friday, at 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Several hospitals in Metro Manila also closed their outpatient services and temporarily stopped admitting patients due to the rise in COVID-19 infections among hospital employees and personnel.
The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) placed the National Capital Region (NCR) under Alert Level 3 from January 3 to 15, 2022, following the sharp increase in new COVID-19 cases.
