Marcos, First Lady attend opening Mass for Our Lady of Guadalupe PH pilgrimage 2026

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos attended the opening Mass marking the arrival of the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the Philippines on Saturday.

The image of the Madre Peregrina de Guadalupe was welcomed at the Manila Cathedral, according to a report on 24 Oras Weekend.

The image will remain at the Manila Cathedral until June 18 before being transferred to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Makati City as part of this year's pilgrimage.

The image of Our Lady of Guadalupe will then continue its journey across the country, visiting various locations in the Philippines until December.—MCG, GMA News
