Flood on Pedro Gil St., Manila - Aug. 10, 2026

Some roads in Metro Manila got flooded on Monday, August 10, 2026, due to the heavy rains caused by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Here is a list of flooded areas, according to the 6:38 a.m. update of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA):

MANILA CITY
- Roxas Blvd. southbound - US Embassy - Above gutter deep, 9", passable to light vehicles
- Roxas Blvd. - Pedro Gil northbound and southbound - Gutter deep, 8", passable to light vehicles
- España Blvd corner Antipolo St. - 10", passable to light vehicles
- Roxas Blvd - Kalaw - 8", passable to light vehicles

PASAY CITY
- Roxas Blvd. - EDSA Intersection - 8", passable to light vehicles
- Pagbaba ng Roxas Blvd. - Buendia Flyover southbound - Gutter deep, 8", passable to light vehicles
- southbound Roxas Blvd -HK Plaza - Gutter deep, 8", passable to light vehicles

QUEZON CITY
- G. Araneta / Ma. Clara - Waist Deep, 37", not passable to light vehicles
- E Rodriguez - G. Araneta Intersection - Gutter deep, 8", passable to light vehicles

VALENZUELA CITY
- 3S Center, Dalandanan - 13-18 inches, Half tire leve, not passable to light vehicles
- Toyota Dalandanan - 13-18 inches, Half tire level, not passable to light vehicles

PARANAQUE CITY
- Dr. A. Santos Avenue at Olivarez School to Canaynay - 12", half tire level, not passable to light vehicles
- Ninoy Aquino Avenue-Kabihasnan - 9", passable to light vehicles

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will continue to bring rains over Luzon and the western section of the Visayas on Tuesday, PAGASA reported. —KG, GMA News
