Traffic build-up is expected to start by Friday afternoon (for motorists going North) and may extend until 2 p.m., Saturday, October 31. Traffic may specifically be expected by motorists in the lateral national and provincial roads especially those near cemeteries. TMC said it will intensify toll collection personnel at the Balintawak and Dau toll plazas beginning on the afternoon of Oct. 30 until late afternoon of Oct. 31. Ambulant tellers or tellers outside the toll booth will be deployed should lines get longer in the lanes. They will give ambulant cards which should be surrendered by motorists upon payment at the toll booths, in exchange for the original toll receipts. In cases of emergency, motorists may use the orange colored emergency call boxes along NLEX or call the emergency hotline, (02) 3-5000 and (02) 580-8500.
