Raps filed vs. 3 suspects in Remate columnist's slay —PTFoMs

Formal charges have been filed against the suspects in the killing of Remate columnist Jupiter Gonzales and his companion Christopher Tiongson, according to the Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFoMS).

Primary suspect Armado Velasco will be facing double murder, as stated in the complaint lodged with the Pampanga Prosecutors Office in San Fernando City.

An accomplice identified as Edgardo Cabrera and another "John Doe" were also named respondents in the complaint.

Gonzales and Tiongson were shot dead inside a vehicle in Arayat, Pampanga on October 20.

The PTFoMS previously said that the killing was not related to the columnist's profession and that Gonzales presumably knew his killer. —Dona Magsino/KBK, GMA News
