PNP reports 34th fatality due to COVID-19
The Philippine National Police (PNP) has reported another fatality due to COVID-19 among its personnel on Tuesday, bringing the total deaths to 34.
The PNP said the 34th fatality was a police commissioned officer. He was 45 years old.
As of Monday, the total number of PNP personnel who have contracted COVID-19 reached 12,343 with 103 new infections.
Of the total number, 11,391 have already recovered while 918 are still active cases.

Manila Police District chief Police Brigadier General Leo Francisco on Monday placed the MPD Station 11 under special quarantine after 46 police officers tested positive for COVID-19.
