Erap now out of ICU, to be transferred to non-COVID-19 area soon — Jinggoy
Former President Joseph Estrada is now out of ICU and will be transferred to a non-COVID-19 area soon, his son, former Senator Jinggoy Estrada said Wednesday.
The younger Estrada made the announcement on social media a day after stating that his father already tested negative for COVID-19.
"My father is back to a regular room and will be transferred to the non-COVID area in a few days. He is still on oxygen but no longer high flow and only by nasal cannula," Jinggoy posted on his Facebook account.

"He has no more fever and is eating well. He is well-oriented and conversing normally," he added.
Jinggoy asked the public to continue praying for his father's recovery.
"Our family wishes to thank everyone who offered their prayers and support. Please continue to pray for him and to all those afflicted by this disease," he said.
Last March 29, Jinggoy announced that his father was COVID-19 positive.
The former president was sedated and moved to the ICU on April 4, according to Jinggoy, as he continued battling COVID-19.
He also had to be placed on mechanical ventilation at one point as his pneumonia had worsened, but his condition has since stabilized. — RSJ, GMA News
