DOJ chief Remulla tests positive for COVID-19

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla on Sunday said he tested positive for COVID-19.

“I have covid. Tested positive Thursday,” Remulla said in a message to reporters.

However, he added that he was only experiencing “very mild” symptoms.

Remulla’s announcement came days after President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. also tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday, July 8.

Press Secretary Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles on Sunday said that Marcos’ health had improved “with only mild symptoms with no fever, no loss of taste and smell sensation.” — DVM, GMA News
