SOJ signs immigration lookout bulletin vs. contractors, DPWH officials

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla has already signed the initial batch of immigration lookout bulletin orders (ILBO) against contractors and officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) linked to the anomalous flood control projects in the country.

The ILBOs that were initially signed were the ones requested earlier by Senate Blue Ribbon Committee chairperson Rodante Marcoleta.

“The Secretary has signed the initial batch of ILBOs. This is the request of Senator Marcoleta from the Blue Ribbon Committee,” said Department of Justice (DOJ) spokesperson Mico Clavano in a statement on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the ones requested by newly minted DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon will be signed on Thursday, the DOJ said.

“The request of Secretary Dizon was received today, and the additional ILBOs will be signed tomorrow,” Clavano added.

Dizon earlier requested 20 individuals to be included in the immigration bulletin. Among them is former Bulacan first district engineer Henry Alcantara, and contractors Sarah and Pacifico Discaya.

“We will be releasing the full list of names tomorrow. It's already consolidated, containing the Blue Ribbon Committee and Sec. Vince’s list,” Clavano also said. —Vince Angelo Ferreras/LDF, GMA Integrated News
