For Malacañang, it's too early to discuss about politics as President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. is busy addressing the challenges hounding the country.

At a press conference on Monday, Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro was asked whether the President has already chosen someone to endorse in the 2028 presidential elections.

(At present, in the mind of the President, it's too early to tackle who will run as president in the coming elections.)

Trabaho muna,” she added.

(The President is focused with his work, he is focused with what's happening in the Middle East. The President isn't focused with politics, for him it's work first.)

In February, Marcos said he would not make any endorsement soon, noting that timing is everything. — Anna Felicia Bajo/RSJ, GMA News
