Sara Duterte maintains lead over Robredo in 2028 presidential election poll
Vice President Sara Duterte remains ahead of Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo in a hypothetical two-way race for the 2028 presidential election, based on a new Pulse Asia survey commissioned by the Stratbase Group, an advisory and research consultancy firm.
In the survey conducted from May 3 to 7, 2026, Duterte received 51%, while Robredo got 41%, according to a report on "24 Oras Weekend" on Saturday. Eight percent of respondents said they were undecided or declined to say whom they would vote for.
Senators Bam Aquino and Raffy Tulfo were also mentioned as preferred candidates, despite not being included in the survey.
For vice president, the Pulse Asia survey showed Senator Erwin Tulfo garnering 46%, eight percentage points ahead of Senator Robin Padilla, who received 38%.
The names of Senators Rodante Marcoleta and Raffy Tulfo were also mentioned as potential vice presidential candidates.
