Bato dela Rosa's son sends Father's Day greetings
The only son of embattled Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, Rock, extended his Father’s Day greetings on Sunday.
In a Facebook post, Rock shared a short but heartfelt message featuring a photo of him with his father, and a photo with his infant child.
“Happy Father’s day to all fathers out there from Bato , Rock and Stone,” he said.
After missing since November last year amid rumors there is an arrest warrant issued against him by the International Criminal Court (ICC), the elder Dela Rosa went back under the radar following a brief appearance at the Senate on May 11, where he cast his vote to install Alan Peter Cayetano as the new Senate President.
He sought protective custody at the Senate after members of the National Bureau of Investigation tried to serve the ICC arrest warrant against him. But the senator left the Senate with Padilla during the early hours of May 14, following a shooting incident at the upper chamber’s building.
The Philippine National Police earlier said that it has received information on the possible whereabouts of the senator and is actively pursuing all available leads to locate and arrest him. —Vince Angelo Ferreras/RF, GMA News
