A magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck General Luna, Surigao del Norte, on Monday afternoon, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).
Based on PHIVOLCS data, the earthquake occurred at 12:04 p.m.
It was of tectonic origin and had a focal depth of 10 kilometers.
