NGCP: Scheduled power interruptions in parts of Leyte

Brief power interruptions may affect parts of Leyte and Southern Leyte starting early Wednesday, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said.

In an advisory issued Monday, the NGCP said this is due to the shutdown of the 69-kilovolt Tolosa-San Isidro line (Javier-San Isidro portion).

This seeks to facilitate maintenance works along the said line and may affect:

  • DORELCO's Javier Substation: about 30 minutes between 7 and 8 a.m. for isolation scheme
  • SOLECO's Sogod, Himayangan and St. Bernard Substations: about 45 minutes between 7 and 8 a.m. for isolation; and about 45 minutes between 4 and 5 p.m. for normalization procedure.
