Alleged supplier of illegal drugs to showbiz personalities killed in Laguna

Two suspected drug dealers, including an alleged supplier of illegal drugs to showbiz personalities, were killed in anti-illegal drug operations in San Pedro, Laguna on Thursday morning.

One of those killed was alleged drug supplier Alvin Comerciante who reportedly has two aliases" Vergel and Burdado, of Adelina Subdivision, Barangay San Vicente, San Pedro City, Laguna.

The police did not release the name of the other person killed.

Four people were arrested during the same drug operation, including Comerciante’s partner Christine Padilla.

The police did not divulge the names of the other arrested suspects.

The PNP Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Unit, led by Senior Superintendent Randy Peralta, along with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and other police units, were supposed to implement the search warrant issued against Comerciante around 10 a.m.

However, Comerciante allegedly engaged the law enforcers in a firefight.

Among the items recovered during the operation were firearms and ammunitions, grenade, illegal drugs, paraphernalias, laptops, and cellphones. — VVP, GMA News
