Cagayan feels Ompong's strong winds; river overflows
Strong winds blew into Cagayan on Saturday morning after Typhoon Ompong (international name: Mangkhut) made landfall over the municipality of Baggao.
Some houses and establishments were hardly hit, dzBB's Allan Gatus said in a report on dzBB.
However, a gasoline station was almost leveled down in Tuguegarao City.
Trees were also toppled down by strong winds.
Meanwhile, the ceiling of the municipal hall of Tuguegarao City was destroyed, a sign that its roof was removed by strong winds.
