Police identify suspect in death of 24-year-old woman in Bulacan
Police in Bulacan already have a suspect in the death of a 24-year-old industrial engineer.
Interviewed on GMA News’ Unang Balita on Thursday, Bulacan police director Police Colonel Charlie Cabradilla said the victim, Princess Diane Dayor, was familiar with the suspect, who is residing near the crime scene.
“Meron tayong na-discover, na-found out na natin na meron na tayong suspect [We already have a suspect],” Cabradilla said.
“Our investigators and our intel operatives conducted follow-up last night. Yun nga ang sinasabi natin [as I mentioned], as of this time, hindi pa po natin nahuhuli ang suspect [We have yet to arrest the suspect],” he added.
According to Cabradilla, the police are looking at the incident as a case of robbery and homicide.
Asked if the victim was sexually assaulted, he said the police are still waiting for the result of the medico legal and autopsy.
Dayor was found dead Tuesday in a grassy area near the Guiguinto-Malolos border after being reported missing for days.
The family of the victim said they last saw her before she set out for work on Saturday, July 2. —KBK, GMA News
