Wedding celebration pushes through amid Mayon unrest

Not even the increased volcanic activity of Mayon Volcano in Albay can stop a newly married couple from celebrating their union.

According to a “Saksi” report on Monday, the couple even took photos with the volcano spewing smoke in the background.

Ge Marquez-Morales, the bride, shared that they were at the reception when the volcanic eruption started.

At first, they thought it was normal since the volcano had already been active for some time.

However, as the smoke intensified and heated up, the couple and their guests moved indoors and stayed there for safety.
