A total of 85,295 individuals, or 17,059 families, have been affected as Typhoon Domeng triggered flooding in parts of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said.

In its report as of Sunday, the NDRRMC said no affected residents have been transferred to evacuation centers so far.

Flooding was reported in at least 37 areas across the region.

The agency also reported P3.4 million worth of infrastructure damage in BARMM.

Meanwhile, PAGASA said Domeng slightly weakened Monday morning as it continued moving northward near Okinawa, Japan.

As of 10 a.m., the eye of the typhoon was estimated 710 km northeast of Itbayat, Batanes, packing maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h near the center and gusts of up to 150 km/h.
