Teacher shot dead by soldier-boyfriend in Camarines Sur

A teacher was shot dead by her boyfriend, a soldier, in Del Gallego, Camarines Sur.

According to a report in “Saksi” on Thursday, witnesses said the victim was eating at the plaza together with her friends when the suspect dragged her out.

A barangay tanod tried to pacify the situation but was shot by the suspect.

Several gunshots were later heard. The victim was later seen lying on the ground.

The suspect also shot himself but survived his injuries. He is now recuperating in a hospital and is under close guard by police.

The barangay tanod also survived the shooting, the report said.
