Kiyapo affected 295,000 people —OCD
At least 295,000 people, or 7,550 families, have been affected by Tropical Storm Kiyapo, according to the Office of Civil Defense on Monday
At least three people were reported dead due to Kiyapo, one in Davao and two in Sarangani. OCD said it is still verfying the cause of deaths of from the Saranggani casualties.
Meanwhile, one person was reported missing in Sarangani.
The NDRRMC said that there were 671 houses damaged, with 435 of them partially damaged and 246 totally damaged.
While Kiyapo (now called Typhoon Noul) left the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Saturday, it whipped up widespread rains during its stay, triggering flooding in several areas across the country.
