P510-M suspected shabu, 3 suspects including a minor arrested in Batangas Port — PDEA

More than half a billion pesos worth of suspected shabu were confiscated at the Batangas Port with one of the suspects being a minor, according to the report of Mariz Umali in "Saksi."

PDEA operatives conducted an anti-illegal drugs operation at the Batangas Port on Thursday morning, their targets were suspects who are traveling by boat from Caticlan.

The PDEA operatives and personnel from other law enforcement agencies immediately identified and search the vehicle of the suspects at the port after receiving critical information about the shipment.

PDEA confiscated about 75 kilos of suspected shabu worth up to P510 million.

Three suspects were arrested, including the 17-year-old driver. They are facing charges related to Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. — BAP, GMA News
