Ash plume emitted from Mayon volcano — PHIVOLCS

An ash plume was observed from the summit crater of Mayon Volcano early Wednesday evening, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported.

The ash plume was observed emitted at 6:03 p.m. beneath the thick cloud cover over the summit crater of Mayon Volcano and blown in the genereal northeastern direction.

PHIVOLCS said Alert Level 2 remains over Mayon Volcano. — BAP, GMA News
