RAINFALL ALERT: Yellow in Zambales, portions of Tarlac, Pampanga, Bataan (Monday, 11 a.m.)

PAGASA heavy rainfall warning on August 31, 2026 at 11 a.m.

A yellow rainfall alert has been raised by PAGASA over Zambales and portions of Tarlac, Pampanga, and Bataan, on Monday morning due to heavy rains from the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Yellow rainfall warning (flooding is expected in flood-prone areas):

• Zambales
• Tarlac (San Clemente, Camiling, Mayantoc, San Jose, Capas, Bamban, Santa Ignacia)
• Pampanga (Porac, Floridablanca)
• Bataan (Dinalupihan)

According to PAGASA, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains over the following areas is expected to persist within three hours:
• Nueva Ecija (Cabiao, San Antonio, San Isidro, Aliaga, Bongabon, Cabanatuan, Gabaldon, General Mamerto Natividad, Guimba, Jaen, Laur, Licab, Llanera, Nampicuan, Palayan, Pantabangan, Peñaranda, Quezon, Rizal, San Jose, San Leonardo, Santa Rosa, Santo Domingo, Muñoz, Talavera, Zaragoza, Carranglan, Cuyapo, Lupao, Talugtug)
• Tarlac (Concepcion, Anao, La Paz, Pura, Ramos, Victoria, Tarlac City, Gerona, Paniqui, San Manuel, Moncada)
• Pampanga (Arayat, Bacolor, San Fernando, Magalang, Mexico, Santa Ana, Angeles, Mabalacat, Guagua, Santa Rita)
• Bataan (Morong, Bagac, Mariveles)

Meanwhile, in Bulacan, light to moderate rains are expected within the next three hours.
