RAINFALL ALERT: Yellow in parts of Zambales, Bataan (Thursday, 8 a.m.)

PAGASA on Thursday issued a yellow rainfall warning over parts of Zambales and Bataan due to the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.

In its 8 a.m. advisory, PAGASA said the following areas are under a rainfall warning:

Yellow rainfall warning (Flooding in flood-prone areas)

• Zambales (San Felipe, San Narciso, San Antonio, Subic, Castillejos, San Marcelino, Olongapo)
• Bataan(Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Morong).

Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains within the next 3 hours are expected over:

• Pampanga
• Cavite
• Metro Manila
• Bulacan
• Rizal
• Zambales (Botolan, Cabangan, Candelaria, Iba, Masinloc, Palauig, Santa Cruz)
• Batangas (Nasugbu, Lian, Tuy, Balayan, Calatagan, Calaca, Mabini, Tingloy, Bauan, Taal, Santa Teresita, San Luis, Agoncillo, San Nicolas, Laurel, Lemery, Talisay, Tanauan, Santo Tomas, Malvar, Balete, Mataasnakahoy, Lipa, Cuenca, Alitagtag, San Jose, San Pascual)
• Nueva Ecija (San Antonio, Cabiao, San Isidro, Gapan, San Leonardo, Jaen, Zaragoza)
• Laguna (Calamba, Cabuyao, Santa Rosa, Binan, San Pedro, Alaminos, Calauan, Los Banos, Bay, Victoria, Pakil, Mabitac, Pangil, Santa Maria, Famy, Siniloan).

PAGASA also said that light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are affecting:

• Bataan (Bagac, Orion, Pilar, Balanga, Abucay, Limay, Mariveles)
• Tarlac (Gerona, Santa Ignacia, Paniqui)
• Quezon ( General Nakar)
