THUNDERSTORM ADVISORY: Moderate to heavy rains over parts of Nueva Ecija, Quezon (8:16 p.m., Friday)

Moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds are expected over the following areas in the next two hours, according to PAGASA's thunderstorm advisory issued at 8:16 p.m. on Friday.

Nueva Ecija (Bongabon, Rizal, General Mamerto Natividad, Guimba, Quezon, Aliaga, and Cabanatuan),

Quezon (Agdangan, Unisan, Atimonan, Plaridel, Infanta, and General Nakar),

Tarlac (Camiling, San Clemente, Paniqui, Ramos, Gerona, and Pura), and

Zambales (Candelaria and Santa Cruz).

Moderate to heavy rain showers are affecting the following areas and may persist in the next two hours.

Nueva Ecija (Carranglan, Pantabangan, San Jose, Lupao, Llanera, Santo Domingo, Talavera, Muñoz, Cuyapo, Talugtug, and Nampicuan) and

Tarlac (Moncada, San Manuel, and Anao).

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards, which include flash floods and landslides. Keep monitoring for updates. –NB, GMA News
