3 weather systems to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over parts of PH

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao, the northeasterly windflow will be affecting extreme Northern Luzon while the easterlies will affect the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon, PAGASA reported.

Forecast Weather Conditions

Visayas, Mindanao, Bicol Region, and MIMAROPA will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ and flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies and flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have party cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeasterly windflow but this will have no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies while flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Conditions

The wind speed forecast for extreme Northern Luzon is moderate and moving in the northeast to east direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Visayas and the rest of Luzon will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to east direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
