Isolated rains are expected in parts of the country over the next 24 hours due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms, PAGASA said Monday afternoon.

In its 4 p.m. forecast, the state weather bureau said Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Visayas, and Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

The rest of Luzon will have similar conditions due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA warned that severe thunderstorms may trigger flash floods or landslides.

Moderate winds and moderate coastal waters will prevail over the northern and eastern sections of the country. Elsewhere, winds and seas will be light to moderate.

Sunrise in Metro Manila on Tuesday will be at 5:39 a.m.—MCG, GMA News
