Localized thunderstorms to bring cloudy skies, rains over PH — PAGASA

Localized thunderstorms are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country on Monday, the state weather bureau PAGASA said.

In its 24-hour weather forecast issued at 4 p.m., PAGASA warned of possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Winds over the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao are forecast to be moderate, blowing from the northeast. In Northern Luzon, winds will be light to moderate, moving from the northeast to southeast.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds from the northeast to east.

The maximum temperature recorded at the PAGASA Weather Station in Science Garden, Diliman, Quezon City reached 33.5°C at 1 p.m., while the minimum dropped to 24.2°C at 5 a.m.

Sunset is expected at 6:11 p.m. Sunday, while sunrise on Monday is forecast at 5:40 a.m.

No low-pressure areas are being monitored at this time.—MCG, GMA News
