Parts of PH to have cloudy skies, rains on Monday due to easterlies
Parts of the country will experience cloudy skies and rains due to the effect of the easterlies affecting Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, the state weather bureau said on Monday.
In its 4 a.m. public weather forecast, PAGASA said Sorsogon, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Southern Leyte, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms because of the easterlies.
The easterlies will also cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains or severe thunderstorms in these areas.
The state weather bureau added that no low pressure area (LPA) is being monitored for tropical cyclone formation so far.
Meanwhile, the whole Philippines will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas on Monday.
