Habagat to bring rains over Luzon —PAGASA
The Southwest Monsoon, or Habagat, is forecast to bring rains over the northern, central, and western portions of Luzon on Thursday, the state weather bureau PAGASA said.
According to its 24-hour-weather forecast issued at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, the Habagat could bring occasional rains over Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, and Pampanga.
The weather system is also expected to cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, and the rest of Ilocos Region, and Central Luzon.
Further, the localized thunderstorms may bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.
The maximum temperature recorded, based on data from the PAGASA Weather Station in Science Garden, Diliman, Quezon City, reached 31.5°C at 12 p.m., while the minimum dropped to 25.3°C at 6:00 a.m.
