Habagat to bring rains over parts of Luzon — PAGASA
The southwest monsoon (habagat) will bring rains over Northern Luzon, Central Luzon, and the western section of Southern Luzon on Thursday, PAGASA reported.
Forecast Weather Conditions
Ilocos Region, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, and Pampanga will have occasional rains due to the southwest monsoon with the possibility of flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to heavy rains.
Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and the rest of Central Luzon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with the possibility of flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility of flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.
Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Conditions
The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon, Central Luzon, and the western section of Southern Luzon is moderate to strong moving southwestward with moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the south to southwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
