The forecast average for cyclones in June is one to two, with a chance of making landfall over the Bicol Region or Eastern Visayas before affecting Luzon, according to the state weather bureau, PAGASA.
Typhoon Ester hit first last week, which exited PAR on Saturday.
In a weather report on 'Unang Balita' Monday, there is a chance the forecast typhoons might change direction.
As of now, no cyclones have been spotted inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
Meanwhile, the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat is still expected to bring rain to the western sections of Northern and Central Luzon, while localized thunderstorms are expected across the rest of the country, including Metro Manila. —Lyjah Tiffany Bonzo/LDF, GMA News
