Habagat to bring scattered rains over Northern Luzon, says PAGASA

The southwest monsoon or Habagat will be affecting the western section of Northern Luzon on Thursday, PAGASA reported.

Forecast Weather Conditions

Ilocos Norte and Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest Monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms as flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Conditions

The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon is moderate ad moving in the south to southwest direction while coastal waters will be moderate.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the southeast to south direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

Sunrise will be at 5:26 a.m., sunset at 6:25 p.m. — BAP, GMA News
