LPA outside PAR has low chance of becoming tropical depression

A low pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) has a low chance of becoming a tropical depression in the next 24 hours, PAGASA said on Tuesday night.

In a Facebook post, the state weather bureau said it has begun monitoring LPA 06b as of 8 p.m.

The LPA is 3,115 kilometers east of Northeastern Mindanao and has a low chance of developing into a tropical depression so far.
