Cloudy skies, isolated rains over parts of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, Visayas
The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over the eastern sections of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas on Friday, PAGASA reported.
Meanwhile, the weather bureau is also monitoring the tropical cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), Tropical Storm Maysak (formerly Henry) located 1,095 kilometers west of Northern Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 60 kilometers per hour near the center, gustiness of up to 80 km/h, and moving west southwestward at 15 km/h.
Forecast Weather Conditions
Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Aurora, and Quezon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Conditions
The wind speed forecast for western section of Southern Luzon is moderate and moving in the southeast to south direction with moderate coastal waters.
For the Visayas and the rest of Luzon, the wind speed forecast is light to moderate and moving in the east to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
In Mindanao, the wind speed forecast is light to moderate and moving in the south to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
