PAGASA: Luzon to see more rains as Southwest Monsoon persists

Parts of Luzon will continue to see rains on Thursday due to the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat, PAGASA said in its daily bulletin.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Nangka, which is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, was monitored at 3 a.m. at 2,560 kilometers east northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon. It is moving northeastward at 20 kilometers per hour with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h.

For the day's weather, Zambales and Bataan will have occasional rains due to the Southwest Monsoon.

Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, the rest of Central Luzon, Camarines Norte, Aklan, Antique, and Capiz will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms as a result of the Southwest Monsoon.

The Southwest Monsoon will give the rest of Luzon partyly cloud to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.

Mindanao and the rest of Visayas will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
