Orange rainfall warning raised in Zambales, Bataan; Yellow warning up in Metro Manila, 5 areas
An orange rainfall warning is raised in Zambales and Bataan, while a yellow rainfall warning is up over Metro Manila and 5 nearby provinces on Friday morning.
PAGASA placed the following areas in Orange and Yellow warnings in its 5 a.m. advisory:
Orange Rainfall Warning (Flooding is threatening)
- Zambales
- Bataan
Yellow Rainfall Warning (Possible flood in flood prone areas)
- Bulacan
- Metro Manila
- Tarlac (Concepcion, Bamban, Capas, Tarlac City, Gerona, La Paz, Paniqui, Pura, Ramos, Victoria, Camiling, Mayantoc, San Clemente, San Jose, Santa Ignacia),
- Cavite (Bacoor, Imus, Kawit, Cavite City, General Trias, Rosario, Tanza, Ternate, Naic, Noveleta, Magallanes, Maragondon, Trece Martires, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Dasmarinas, Indang, Alfonso), Batangas(Nasugbu, Tuy, Lian, Calatagan, Balayan),
- Rizal (Rodriguez, San Mateo)
- and Quezon (General Nakar)
PAGASA, meanwhile, said light to moderate rains affecting Nueva Ecija, Rizal(Antipolo, Tanay, Angono, Baras, Binangonan, Cainta, Cardona, Jala-Jala, Morong, Pililla, Taytay, Teresa), Tarlac(San Manuel, Anao, Moncada), Cavite(Amadeo, Mendez, Silang, Tagaytay, Carmona, Gen. Mariano Alvarez), Batangas(Laurel, Lemery, Calaca, Agoncillo), Laguna(San Pedro, Santa Maria, Siniloan, Famy, Mabitac, Pakil, Pangil, Binan, Santa Rosa, Cabuyao) and Quezon(Infanta, Real, Panukulan) which may persist within 3 hours and may affect nearby areas.
Several areas have suspended classes on Friday due to the bad weather.
PAGASA advised the public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned to monitor the weather conditions.
