The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will continue to drench Metro Manila and several provinces in Luzon on Thursday, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, it said the Southwest Monsoon will bring occasional rains over the Ilocos Region, Batanes, Zambales, and Bataan.

Cloudy skies with scatterred and thunderstorms due to Habagat will be experienced in Metro Manila, Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Cagayan Valley, the rest of Central Luzon, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, and Palawan.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms as a result of localized thunderstorms.

Sunrise is at 5:43 a.m. and sunset is at 6:16 p.m.

Meanwhile, at 3 a.m. Thursday, the center of Tropical Depression Neneng was estimated at 390 km north of Itbayat, Batanes with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 55 km/h. It is moving west-northwestward at 30 km/h.

A tropical depression and Tropical Storm Saudel, which are both outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, are also being monitored by PAGASA.—LDF, GMA News
