RAINFALL ALERT: Rains in Region 3, CALABARZON, Metro Manila (Thursday, 8 am)

Parts of Regions 3 and 4A (CALABARZON) are currently experiencing light to moderate rains, with occasional heavy rains, due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), state weather bureau PAGASA said Thursday morning.
In its 8 a.m. rainfall advisory, PAGASA said the affected areas are:
- Zambales (Botolan, San Marcelino),
- Nueva Ecija (Lupao, San Jose, Pantabangan, Munoz),
- Quezon (General Nakar),
- Pampanga (Floridablanca, Porac) and
- Batangas (Taal, Santa Teresita, San Nicolas, San Luis, Lemery, Agoncillo, Calaca, Balayan, Tuy, Lian, Calatagan, Tingloy)
Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are also expected over:
- Bulacan,
- Tarlac,
- Bataan,
- Laguna (San Pablo, Alaminos, Calauan, Bay, Los Banos, Rizal, Nagcarlan, Victoria, Calamba, Cabuyao, Santa Rosa, Liliw, Magdalena, Majayjay, Pila, Santa Cruz, Santa Maria, Famy, Siniloan, Mabitac),
- Rizal (Antipolo, San Mateo, Tanay, Baras, Rodriguez, Cainta, Taytay, Teresa, Morong, Angono, Pililla),
- Metro Manila (Marikina, Manila, Caloocan, Malabon, Valenzuela, Navotas, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Quezon City, Pasig, Makati, Pateros) and
- Cavite (Alfonso, Magallanes, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Tagaytay, Maragondon, Ternate, Mendez, Indang, Amadeo, Silang).
PAGASA advised the public and concerned Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices to monitor the weather conditions and watch for the next warning to be issued at 11 a.m., Thursday. —AOL, GMA News
