RAINFALL ALERT: Rains in 8 Luzon provinces due to Habagat (Thursday, 11 am)

Parts of Bulacan and Zambales are currently experiencing light to moderate rains, with occasional heavy rains, due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), the state weather bureau PAGASA said Thursday morning.

In its 11 a.m. rainfall advisory, PAGASA said the affected areas are:

• Bulacan (Dona Remedios Trinidad, San Miguel) and
• Zambales (Iba, Palauig, Masinloc, Candelaria, Santa Cruz)

Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are also expected over:

• Bataan,
• Pampanga,
• Tarlac,
• Nueva Ecija,
• Quezon (General Nakar, Panukulan, Polillo) and
• Rizal (Rodriguez).

PAGASA advised the public and concerned Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices to monitor the weather conditions and watch for the next warning to be issued at 2 p.m., Thursday. —AOL, GMA News
