RAINFALL ALERT: Moderate to heavy rains expected over Metro Manila, Rizal, 5 areas (Sunday, 10:30 p.m.)

Moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds are expected over parts of Metro Manila, Rizal, and five other areas in Luzon, the PAGASA said on Sunday evening.

In PAGASA’s advisory issued at 10:32 p.m., the following areas are expected to experience the said weather conditions:

• Metro Manila (Valenzuela, Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Manila, Pasay)
• Quezon (General Nakar)
• Rizal (Rodriguez, San Mateo)
• Bulacan (Meycauayan, Marilao, Obando, Bocaue, Bulakan, Hagonoy, Calumpit, Pandi, Angat, Doña Remedios, Trinidad, Paombong, Malolos, Balagtas, Guiguinto)
• Zambales (San Marcelino, San Narciso, San Felipe)
• Bataan (Bagac, Pilar, Orion)
• Pampanga (Porac, Santa Rita, Minalin, Guagua)

PAGASA advised the public to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards, which include flash floods and landslides. — BAP, GMA News
