The Clash 2023 champion John Rex and finalist Lianna Castillo sign contract with GMA Music

The Clash Season 5 grand winner John Rex and finalist Liana Castillo are now officially part of GMA Music's roster of talents. In the contract signing happened on September 11, the two were welcomed by GMA Music Artists and Repertoire Manager Kedy Sanchez, GMA Music Officer-in-charge and Marketing Services Manager Michelle Reyes, and GMA Music Artists and Repertoire Officer and In-house producer Caleb Hinanay. John Rex became the newest The Clash champion after defeating Arabelle dela Cruz where they both performed "Oras Ko 'To," an original piece composed by The Clash judge and Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista. Aside from an exclusive management contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center, John Rex took home PhP1 million cash and a brand-new house and lot worth PhP3 million. Liana captured the hearts of listeners with her breathtaking performance of Randy Crawford's "One Day I'll Fly Away." She made it to the final four of The Clash 2023.
