Two high school students were injured after they were stabbed by a group of youngsters in Diamond Village, Damosa, Davao City on Monday, July 6, 2026.
Based on investigation, the victims were reportedly walking home at around 4 p.m. when they were approached by the group.
One of the victims sustained three stab wounds in the back while the other suffered a single stab wound.
Both victims were brought to the Southern Philippines Medical Center where they are receiving medical treatment, as of this writing.
A follow-up operation by personnel of the Sasa Police Station led to the rescue of six minors allegedly responsible for the stabbing.
Police said the victims identified the primary suspect positively. Authorities also recovered the knife believed to have been used in the attack.
The minors rescued were taken under police custody as authorities continue their investigation.
