Police says two missing persons of interest in Bulacan massacre 'free to roam around'

Police on Thursday said that the missing two persons of interest being linked to the killing of a security guard's family in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan are "free to roam around."

Two men identified as a certain Alvin Mabesa and alias Tony are said to be still missing. They are linked to the deaths of Auring Dizon, her daughter Estrella, and Estrella's three children inside their house in North Ridge Royale Subdivision last week. The victims were found dead on June 27 with multiple stab wounds.

Aaron Aquino said in an interview on GMA News' Unang Balita.

As I have said they are free to roam around.

Meanwhile, two other persons of interest identified as Ronaldo Pacinos alias Inggo, and Rosevelt Sorima alias Ponga, were earlier found dead.

Pacinos was found dead on Tuesday with five stab wounds in different parts of the body and had four of his fingers chopped off. A car's fan belt was also wrapped around his neck.

Sorima, on the other hand, was shot inside his residence in San Jose del Monte on Wednesday. He was said to be a brother-in-law of the arrested suspect Carmelino "Miling" Ibañes.

Pacinos and alias Tony were earlier tagged as accomplices by Ibañes who was nabbed by the San Jose del Monte Police at around 6 p.m. on June 28.

He admitted to the crime and claimed being drunk and high on drugs when he committed the murders. He, however, tested negative for illegal drug use.

The 26-year-old construction worker is facing charges of five counts of murder and two counts of rape.

Aquino said that they are currently investigating the deaths of two persons of interest.

"Based on the profile of these 5 persons of interest, they're all drug users. They're notorious drug users," he added.

PNP chief Director General Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa said Wednesday that vigilantes could be behind the killings of the two persons of interest. —Marlly Rome Bondoc/KG, GMA News
