Another person of interest in Bulacan massacre case found dead

Another person of interest in the Bulacan massacre case was found dead on Saturday in San Miguel town, a radio report said.

Super Radyo dzBB stringer Rommel Ramos said that authorities identified the victim as Anthony  Garcia alias "Tony," who was one of the four persons of interest the police said were missing.

The report said the body was found tied and his face was wrapped in tape and a placard placed near his body bore the message: "Adik, rapist ako."

The police believed he also sustained gunshot wounds that might have caused his death.

Tony had been reported missing from their barangay in San Miguel, Bulacan.

Alvin, another person of interest, has also been reported missing.

Earlier this week, two persons of interest in the massacre case, alias  "Ponga" and "Inggo," were also found dead.

Police had invited the four for questioning over the massacre of five members of a family in San Jose Del Monte City last week.

The body of Ronaldo Pacinos (Inggo), was found at Phase 7, North Ridge Subdivision in Barangay Santo Cristo last  Tuesday. He sustained five stab wounds and had four of his fingers chopped off.

His body was also found with a placard that read: "Rapist, Tulak - Wag Tularan."

On Wednesday, Rosevelt Sorema (Ponga), was declared dead on arrival at a hospital after he was shot by masked gunmen inside his residence in San Jose Del Monte City.

Sorima was said to be a brother-in-law of the arrested suspect Carmelino "Miling" Ibañes,  who is now in police custody.

On June 27, security guard Dexter Carlos arrived home in North Ridge Royale Subdivision from his night duty only to find his mother-in-law Auring Dizon, 58; his wife Estrella Dizon, 28; and their children Donnie, 11; Ella, 7 and Dexter Jr., 1, massacred.

Primary suspect Ibañes had admitted to raping Auring and Estrella, stabbing the family to death, and to being under the influence of drugs. He later retracted his statements, claiming that he was tortured by the policemen who arrested him.

The five victims were laid to rest last Wednesday.
