Rabiya Mateo flaunts ‘Hollywood glam’ look in blue bikini

What were Rabiya Mateo’s target looks for the finals? Here’s one.

On Wednesday, Miss Universe Philippines creative director Jonas Gaffud revealed one of the looks that they prepared for Rabiya ahead of the pageant.

In the video, Rabiya could be seen flaunting her impressive figure as she did her “Hala Bira” walk in a blue bikini, with her hair tied up into a classic-looking ponytail.

According to Jonas, this was what he wanted for the finals because it was one of his favorites. However, things took a turn because of “too much pressure.”

“We just wanted what everybody wants. I gave in,” he wrote.

“I studied her proportions for months and this made her look tall and regal and happy. I wanted fresh Hollywood glam,” he continued.

In the comments, fans including actress Chynna Ortaleza commended how “beaming” Rabiya was with the look.

At the recently concluded 69th Miss Universe pageant, Rabiya sizzled on the stage, wearing a yellow bikini matched with a pink cardigan and her wavy flowing hair.

The 2020 Miss Universe crown went to Andrea Meza of Mexico.

Rabiya, who hoped to be the fifth Filipina to win the title, made a graceful exit as one of the Top 21 finalists at the pageant held in Hollywood, Florida, on Monday.

Despite the loss, the beauty queen said she did her best, adding she’s excited to write a new “beautiful chapter.”
